Open Positions
Architectural Project Manager with ten to fifteen years of experience to work in our Philadelphia Office– the individual that will fill this role has a broad range of experience in the design and construction of public bid facilities, is able to function in multiple roles, and has a strong willingness and desire to be involved in all aspects of project design and construction. Client and consultant interaction is a key component for the successful candidate. Your day-to-day duties will touch on nearly every aspect of design office operations: project management, document production, staff oversight, business development, constant client interaction, and contract administration. You must be knowledgeable, versatile, and willing to participate in the long-term growth, development and success of SCHRADERGROUP.
- Must possess Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
- Must be a licensed professional (AIA) with a minimum of 10 years of experience engaged in the duties listed above.
- Must have a working knowledge of modern production software (REVIT, Word, Excel, BlueBeam, etc.).
- Must have exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
- Must be able to sketch and draw to convey ideas and concepts to those with whom you’ll work.
- Must be available to travel. While most of our work is regional, occasional overnight travel maybe required.
Project Architect with five to ten years of experience to work in our Philadelphia office – we are seeking a new team member who is a self-starter, communicates well, desires involvement in all aspects of project design and construction, and can manage a team of designers and consultants. Your day-to-day duties will touch on many aspects of design office operations: developing design concepts, producing construction documents, interacting with clients and consultants, and contract administration. You must be organized, versatile, and an active participant in our firm.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Understanding of building materials and their use and application in building design.
- Proficiency in REVIT with a working knowledge of BlueBeam, Word, Excel, and Photoshop.
- Ability to sketch and draw to convey ideas and concepts to those with whom you’ll work.
- Professional Licensure preferred but not required.
Architectural Designer / Intern Architect with zero to five years of experience to work in our Philadelphia office – we are seeking a new team member who is a self-starter, communicates well, desires involvement in all aspects of project design and construction, and aspires to professional licensure. Your day-to-day duties will touch on many aspects of design office operations: developing design concepts, producing construction documents, interacting with clients and consultants, and contract administration. You must be organized, versatile, and an active participant in our firm.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.

Marketing & Proposal Coordinator with at least five years of experience to work in our Philadelphia office - we are seeking a new team member who is a self-motivated and flexible team player to provide a full range of support for the development, production, and maintenance of all marketing communications. You must possess a strong attention to detail, be able to manage/prioritize multiple tasks, function effectively under strict production deadlines and time constraints, and schedule workload to meet deadlines. You should preferably have a background in graphic design and must also exhibit excellent writing skills.
- Coordinating and preparing proposals and qualifications, including researching and compiling information, formatting, copy writing, and proofreading to present customized, high-quality responses.
- Attending pre-proposal meetings occasionally.
- Writing, organizing, and maintaining other marketing materials such as project fact sheets, staff resumes, and other project-related data for ongoing use in marketing/business development efforts.
- Attending marketing meetings regularly and coordinating with principals and project managers to advance marketing efforts.
- Coordinating and preparing advertisements and award submissions.
- Ensuring content/messaging is consistent across all media and adheres to firm brand standards.
- Creating blog posts and other social media postings.
- Maintaining schedules and deadlines for marketing activities.
- Updating and maintaining the website through regular content reviews and updates.
- Maintaining marketing files.
- Applicant should have a minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience for a professional services firm (design firm preferred) in the preparation of marketing materials including writing, editing and desktop publishing.
- Knowledge of/experience in the architecture/engineering or related industry and the RFP and RFQ process is a plus.
- A degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related discipline is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign), Microsoft Office, and other graphic programs.
