SCHRADERGROUP (SG) welcomes Brian Good, AIA, as the newest Project Manager to our team.
Brian has extensive experience with various sectors of design. His responsibilities include surveying, design, equipment, and material research, construction documentation, as well as coordination with clients, consultants, and contractors. Brian has a wealth of experience from preliminary design through construction administration.
Brian is a registered architect in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Pennsylvania State University.

Schradergroup welcomes Robert Fisher as the newest Project Architect to our firm!
Prior to joining Schradergroup, Robert gained experience through working with other firms for multiple years. His experience to date ranges from design through construction documentation, BIM model development, LEED documentation, feasibility studies, 3D digital modeling, as well as presentation renderings. In addition to his other valuable skills, Robert excels at developing graphic representations of projects to assist clients in visualizing the design solution.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Schradergroup welcomes Jeffrey Rothermel as the newest Structural Designer to our team.
Jeffrey joins our team with a decade of structural engineering design experience in various markets—from residential to commercial, K-12 to higher education, and public safety facilities and institutions. He is well-versed with structural steel, concrete, wood, metals, glazing, railing, and many other types of design. His desire for professional growth and an expansion of knowledge makes him a great asset to our team.
Jeffrey has his Bachelor of Architectural Engineering, Structural option, and an integrated Master of Architectural Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University.

SCHRADERGROUP Welcomes Our Newest Project Architect and Architectural Designers!

SCHRADERGROUP (SG) welcomes Sean Williams, RA, LEED AP bd+c, PHIUS, as our newest Project Architect to the team.
Sean comes to the firm as a licensed Architect with a decade of architecture, engineering, consulting, and contracting experience. He brings to the team an expertise in design, 3D modeling, rendering, and graphic representations of varying projects as well as experience in permitting. Additionally, as a LEED Accredited Professional, he works to instill sustainable solutions into every design project.

SG welcomes Trevor Li as one of our newest Architectural Designers to the team.
Trevor presently is a sixth-year architectural and sustainability design student in Drexel University’s 2+4 Architecture program who earned an AJ Drexel Academic Scholarship and is slated for graduation in June 2018. A few of his accolades include being on the Drexel University’s Dean List, the National Technical Honor Society, the Science National Honor Society, and the Italian Honor Society.
While in pursuit of his Bachelor of Architecture degree, Trevor has gained invaluable practical expertise through architectural design internships completed with professional firms. As an Architectural Designer at SG, Trevor will apply his skills in 3D modeling, graphic representation, and energy and analysis to projects for the academic and public safety markets.

SG welcomes Selby Niumataiwalu as another of our new Architectural Designers to the team.
Selby is a Pennsylvania State University graduate with a Bachelor of Architecture as well as three minors: Architectural History, Environmental Inquiry, and Residential Construction. During his time at Pennsylvania State University, Selby was the State University’s Rugby Captain and a member of their First Team All-Conference. Other accolades during school include the International Prize for Architecture and Archaeology (Premio Piranesi), Race to Zero Energy Competition (Department of Energy, Net Zero Ready Housing), and an Honorable Mention in the Kossman Design Thesis Review.
While earning his Bachelor of Architecture degree, Selby has interned for several professional firms and gained valuable experience in 3D modeling and graphic representation for various projects. Selby’s expertise as an Architectural Designer will greatly contribute towards the SG team’s educational and public safety projects.
SCHRADERGROUP Welcomes Our New Director of Public Safety Client Services!

SCHRADERGROUP (SG) is delighted to welcome Larry Bickford to the firm. Larry joins SG as a Public Safety, Mission Critical, and Emergency Operations consultant.
As a consultant in the construction and design industry, Larry has served as the Project Executive for government facilities as diverse as correctional, judicial, law enforcement, administrative, 9-1-1, and emergency operations center (EOC) facilities. As former County Manager, Larry provides executive level consulting in governmental policy, finance, and capital project procurement and delivery. He served as a principal defining public projects, developing financing strategies, selecting of consultants and has served as the owner’s representative.
Larry is a Penn State Alumnus with 24 years of experience leading county government operations and consulting to municipal, county, regional and state governments in the procurement, design and construction of public safety/justice facilities.
We are excited to have Larry join our team and look forward to his expertise on our future Public Safety projects.

SCHRADERGROUP Welcomes New Senior Project Manager/Educational Facility Planner

SCHRADERGROUP (SG) is pleased to welcome Danielle V. Hoffer, AIA, LEED Green Associate, to the firm as Senior Project Manager and Educational Facility Planner.
Danielle comes to the firm with professional experience gained over 30 years of completing a variety of project types. For over 20 years, Danielle’s work has focused primarily on the planning and design of public K-12 schools, with a goal of creating learning environments that positively affect student achievement. The depth of her experience in educational planning includes master planning, feasibility studies, analysis of demographic studies and enrollment projections, and the development of educational specifications. A strong leader and communicator, Danielle will be intimately involved with educational planning as well as overall project design and management in her new role at SG.
“I am so excited for this opportunity to join SCHRADERGROUP,” says Danielle. “My experience, skills and knowledge align perfectly with the firm, which already has a solid reputation in the K-12 public school market. SCHRADERGROUP Managing Partner Named as Chair of Board of Directors for A4LE

SCHRADERGROUP (SG) is pleased to announce that the Association for Learning Environments (A4LE) has named David L. Schrader, AIA, LEED AP, Chair of its Board of Directors. David, Managing Partner of SG, assumed the role at the recent LearningSCAPES Conference held in Philadelphia, PA.
An active member of A4LE since 2002, David has served as Northeast Region president and has chaired several regional and international committees, contributing to many new association programs. Actively involved with the development and growth of the SchoolsNEXT global competition since 2007, David is committed to inspiring the next generation to build a solid foundation for a better future.
David Schrader has served on the International Board of Directors since 2012. In his new role as chair, he plans to elevate the status of the emerging professional within the Association and plans to work with the Organization to improve the technical platforms upon which all members communicate.

I truly hope that we can continue that strong tradition of mentorship to those new to the organization and to the profession of learning environment planning and design as a whole. David Johnson, Designer, comes to the firm with a strong history of involvement in educational work. His professional experience includes all stages of projects, from schematic design through to construction documentation and administration. He is adept at facilitating coordination between the architectural group and all involved sub-consultants. Well-versed in BIM technology, Dave also is proficient in all aspects of drafting and modeling. His extensive skills and experience serve as an excellent support for the entire project team.
We are excited to have Raquel and Dave as part of our team and look forward to their contributions!
SCHRADERGROUP Welcomes New Team Member

SCHRADERGROUP (SG) is pleased to welcome former summer intern Jeremy Ross back to the team as a permanent employee. Jeremy, who graduated this spring with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Pennsylvania State University, rejoins the firm as an architectural designer.
To date, Jeremy’s experience spans from feasibility studies and conceptual design through to construction documentation and administration primarily for the academic and commercial markets. Adept at working with a variety of design software, his particular expertise in Revit is extremely valuable for the implementation of design strategies as well as in project production.
We are happy to have Jeremy as a permanent addition to our team, and look forward to his contributions!

An article about a recently completed SCHRADERGROUP (SG) project, the restoration of the County courthouse dome in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, was featured in the May 2016 issue of STRUCTURE Magazine. Authored by firm principal, Tom Forsberg, PE, the article describes the process undertaken to repair water damage affecting the structural framework of the dome and the subsequent restoration of the roof and crowning statue of Justitia, Lady Justice.
“The project certainly came with challenges,” says Tom. “But it was incredibly fulfilling to make a contribution towards preserving a piece of Lancaster City’s iconic skyline.”
