Founded in 2004, SCHRADERGROUP (SG) is a full-service architecture and engineering firm located in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Lancaster, State College, Baltimore, and Raleigh. With a focus on academic, public safety, mission critical, and athletic building design, SG creates enhanced environments for the people who use them.
At its core, our work is not just about the buildings. It’s about the students, instructors, and staff who will utilize those spaces every day for learning, growing, and mentoring. It’s about the first responders, public safety employees, and mission critical personnel who secure the community.
To support this mission, SG employs a thorough, consensus-based planning and design process to focus on the unique needs of each community and user. SG engages both key stakeholders and members of the public at every level of design through information sessions, brainstorming sessions, and planning and design workshops.

Meet the Team
As Managing Partner of SCHRADERGROUP, David is responsible for the firm’s leadership, including design, management, and business development. For over three decades, his professional experience has been focused on the design of facilities of public interest. David has led design teams for all modes of projects including K-12 education, higher education, public safety facilities, municipal and court facilities, laboratories, 9-1-1/emergency facilities, commercial facilities, and residential projects. His ability to create a vision with his clients has fostered significant success for all involved including the client, the design team, and the public-at-large. David believes that partnership in design is a key focus of creating a better designed environment for each client.
Harry brings over thirty years of professional architectural and construction experience in the public, private, and education sectors. Throughout his diverse and extensive career, he has focused primarily on strategic planning, marketing and business development, educational programming, planning, project development, and sustainable design.
Harry is a Recognized Educational Facility Professional (REFP) by the Council for Educational Facilities Planners International (CEFPI), and was a past officer of the Northeast Region, where he focused on improving educational facilities by creating next-generation environments for students, faculty, and staff. He is also an active member of many organizations and presents at numerous seminars, workshops, and forums on various topics throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and New Jersey.
In his role as principal, Harry focuses primarily on project management and business development.
From project inception through design and construction oversight, Tom’s structural design experience includes a wide array of new buildings, additions and alterations, feasibility studies, and condition assessments. He is responsible for structural system optimization, multi-discipline coordination, and quality control.
He is well-versed in the design and evaluation of concrete, masonry, steel, and wood structures. With more than thirty years of professional practice, Tom has developed extensive expertise in the design and evaluation of masonry buildings and systems, forensic investigations, diagnostics, and problem resolution. Additionally, his expertise includes building surveys, code analyses, structural load ratings, reinforcement and restoration design, and investigative reports.
Tom has written and published technical articles and delivered lectures on the subjects of structural assessment, forensic investigation, masonry restoration, and structural masonry design.
As a SCHRADERGROUP Principal and a Licensed Professional Engineer, he is committed to upholding the highest standards of professional practice and design.
Team
Devin Bradbury came to SCHRADERGROUP with professional experience spanning a variety of markets and covering all phases of design from schematic design and site planning to construction documentation and construction administration. As a problem solver and critical thinker, Devin is interested in finding unique solutions that will improve design. He thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working with clients as well as the project team. Also interested in contributing to the community through design, Devin is an active volunteer for the Community Design Collaborative in Philadelphia and has completed two successful projects with the CDC over the past few years with sights set on contributing to more in the future.
Devin is a registered architect in Pennsylvania and holds a Master of Architecture degree from North Carolina State University along with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Lehigh University.
Matt is a highly experienced marketing professional and business strategist, with over 15 years in the architecture, engineering, and construction sectors. His expertise lies in client relationship management, sales, marketing, public relations and strategic planning. He holds a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) certification from the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and is a member of the national Lifestyle Residential Development Council with the Urban Land Institute (ULI). He is also an active member with ULI Philadelphia and the Eastern Region Association of Physical Plant Administrators (ERAPPA).
As project manager, Dan D’Amico brings to the team proficiency in both design sense as well technical skills. Dan contributes a strong working knowledge of BIM and uses his skills in Revit to improve design solution appropriateness, workflow, and efficiency. He excels at developing graphic representations of evolving designs to assist clients in visualizing the solution. Additionally, as a LEED Accredited Professional, Dan works to instill sustainable materials and technologies into every project.
Dan is a registered architect in Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Philadelphia University.
With strong team-working and multi-tasking skills and the ability to work independently, Regina makes a valuable contribution to our Construction Administration process. Highly motivated and meticulous, Regina is a detailed-oriented professional with a proven track record of successfully completing projects efficiently and accurately within time and budget constraints. Regina contributes to SCHRADERGROUP her extensive background in accounting, having held various positions as accountant and controller within different organizations.
Charlotte is an NCIDQ-certified interior designer with over 25 years of professional experience in various sectors. She is a resourceful designer with the ability to coordinate services and meet deadlines. As a LEED Accredited Professional, she is also committed to incorporating aspects of sustainable practices into all projects. Charlotte enjoys working closely with clients to achieve solutions for the best final product that supports programming objectives.
Charlotte received her Bachelor of Arts from Lebanon Valley College and her Associate of Specialized Technology, Interior and Environmental Design, Magna Cum Laude, from the Pennsylvania College of Art and Design.
With an impressive 27 years of experience, Thomas brings a wealth of expertise to our team. Throughout his career, Thomas has been extensively involved in all facets of the architectural design process, ranging from client interviews and presentations to construction administration. Additionally, he has played a key role in producing marketing proposals and promoting the company. Thomas has gained extensive experience working with various architectural firms, in addition to running his own practice. Thomas has acquired valuable expertise in overseeing diverse construction projects. He has successfully managed the construction of a hotel, an 8-story office building, and the renovation of a farmhouse.
At SG, Thomas plays a vital role as the point of contact with clients for projects located on the western side of Pennsylvania. Through his dedicated efforts in establishing and nurturing relationships, Thomas actively contributes to the development and maintenance of strong connections. His role is instrumental in facilitating smoother project management and fostering enhanced collaboration with clients. By effectively bridging the gap between SG and its western Pennsylvania clients, Thomas ensures seamless communication and a higher level of client satisfaction.
Pat’s expertise expands SG’s project delivery for facilities supporting Law Enforcement, Fire/EMS, 9-1-1 and Communications, Emergency Operations, and other Mission Critical agencies. His primary responsibilities include leading, operating, and growing our Public Safety Facilities sector. His capabilities include: defining the connection between facility and technology, site selection, building and site threat assessments, infrastructure and technology requirements, and ensuring the proper incorporation of technology and audio-visual systems into facility design.
Beyond Pat’s technical role, he continues to support communications between our team and our clients, establishing and expanding our relationships within the community. He provides a clear client interface, ensuring our design team meets the needs of each client’s vision. We at SG understand the value of client satisfaction, and Pat will continue to ensure a smooth interface.
Craig Schulz is our Mission Critical Facility Expert. He has thirty years of experience in the Public Safety market with expertise in critical infrastructure design, disaster recovery planning, and continuity-of-operations management. Craig’s background makes him an ideal liaison and interface between SG and both our Owner/Clients and the specialty consulting firms with whom we work. Moreover, his knowledge of, and experience with, the grant processes is a valuable resource to stakeholders as they seek project funding sources.
In his role at SG, Craig manages Mission Critical projects from inception through planning, oversees construction document production, and has an integral role in the construction administration process. More specifically in the construction process, Craig is the coordinator for technology integration into these new facilities. Craig is based in our Raleigh, NC office, and supports our Mission Critical Facility endeavors nationwide.
With over 20 years of industry experience, Doug excels in project planning, design development, construction documentation, and construction management across diverse sectors including government, pharmaceuticals, higher education, and commercial real estate. Adept in utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM), Doug possesses comprehensive expertise in integrating BIM into both design and construction workflows.
Doug’s profound knowledge extends to a broad spectrum of project types, enabling him to offer invaluable leadership and guidance to multi-disciplinary design teams. He is fueled by a genuine passion for creative, efficient, and sustainable design, which he consistently incorporates into his work.
Doug’s track record speaks to his exceptional skills, extensive experience, and unwavering dedication to delivering successful projects.
Doug holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Science and a Master of Architecture from the University of Nebraska.
Allison has extensive project management experience, most notably in the K-12 and higher-ed markets. Before joining SG, Allison served as the primary K-12 Project Manager for her previous firm and helped develop their studio. Additionally, she helped lead projects to completion and made sure they were on time and within budget.
At SG, Allison’s involvement in projects will begin at the planning and development stage and continue throughout construction documentation. She will serve as the liaison between our firm, clients, and consultants, ensuring a seamless communication process. She will continue to grow both our internal team and our educational portfolio in the western half of Pennsylvania. Allison is a Pennsylvania State University graduate, a registered Architect, and an American Institute of Architects member.
Eric came to SCHRADERGROUP with multiple years of experience working primarily with institutional and residential project types. His experience with graphic presentation programs combined with his excellent skills as a photographer serve as valuable assets for helping to visually communicate ideas and concepts to clients. Eric additionally contributes a strong working knowledge of BIM and uses his skills in Revit to improve design solution appropriateness, workflow, and efficiency in projects.
Eric received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Pennsylvania State University. Eric is a registered architect in Pennsylvania.
Project Manager Mark Hitchcock contributes over thirty years of experience in all facets of professional architectural practice gained from his tenure with a number of architectural firms as well as with a development company. Skilled at working through all phases of services from programming and needs assessments to project completion, Mark’s experience encompasses small- and large-scale projects in a variety of markets, including educational, institutional, mission critical, and public safety work. A seasoned leader, he contributes a strong attention to detail as well as the ability to provide practical and economical design solutions for his clients.
Mark is a registered architect in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York. He holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts in Design from Clemson University, as well as an Associate Degree in Applied Science and Architectural Technology from SUNY.
Brian has extensive experience with various sectors of design. His responsibilities include surveying, design, equipment, and material research, construction documentation, as well as coordination with clients, consultants, and contractors. Brian has a wealth of experience from preliminary design through construction administration.
Brian is a registered architect in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Pennsylvania State University.
With nearly two decades in the industry, John Evans brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as a Project Manager. His central responsibilities at SG include overseeing complex projects through every phase, from planning and development to construction documentation. John is directly involved in SG’s K-12 and Higher Education Market, focusing on the academic and spatial needs of students and staff. When it comes to leading multi-disciplinary teams, John coordinates them skillfully and efficiently, building a sense of community and collaboration. John also helps advance SG’s business development and interface with clients and consultants. He excels at fostering relationships and ensures a seamless, successful product while fulfilling the client’s goals. John maintains clear communication at each step of the process to establish trust and satisfaction.
Before joining SG, John learned and refined his work at other design firms by collaborating with clients and consultants, working alongside general contractors throughout pre-construction and construction, and ultimately managing numerous successful on-time and on-schedule projects from inception to completion. In addition, John has previously served as the Project Manager for a wide range of commercial and residential projects. John earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Drexel University and has worked on projects across thirteen different states.
Bill joins the SG team with extensive knowledge in various sectors of design, as he has years of experience as a Senior Building Designer with other architectural firms. He is well-versed in the design, coordination, and production of multi-discipline contract documents for educational, municipal, public safety, recreational/sports facilities, and more.
Bill holds a CSI Construction Documents Technology (CDT) certification, providing SG with credible construction document management knowledge, and excels in total CADD design environments utilizing AutoCAD and Revit software.
Bill’s background and expertise in new construction and renovations for K-12, Public Safety and Judicial/Municipal facilities make him a valuable asset to SG’s projects.
Mark joins the SG team with experience specializing in academic and healthcare design. His prior experience consists of all phases of the process from design and documentation through construction administration. Mark’s projects have included academic as well as Healthcare projects. Mark participated as a guest instructor for five semesters teaching architecture to high school level students through Architecture in School (AIS) programs with AIA. He exemplifies the SG goal of continuing this cycle of teaching the next generation about good design. Mark’s passion and dedication to both architecture and education provide SG with new perspectives and solutions valuable to our projects and our clientele as well.
Mark holds a Master of Architecture and Planning from the Catholic University of America, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Engineering, with a minor in Architecture from Lafayette College. Mark is a registered architect in Washington, D.C.
David is an accomplished Architectural and Project designer with more than seven years of experience in both existing and group-up building design. He specializes in conceptual design and analysis through construction documentation and contract administration for mixed-use commercial buildings, hotels, community centers, religious facilities, retail buildings, public buildings, industrial buildings, and multi-unit student housing. He graduated from Drexel University and acquired a NAAB accredited Bachelor of Architecture. David has extensive experience with projects located in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Texas, and Virginia.
At SG, David is actively involved in education projects. His responsibilities encompass project design, project management, as well as liaising with consultants and clients. While fulfilling his current role, David is also preparing for a future transition into construction administration.
Craig is an accomplished individual with almost ten years of experience in the Architecture and Construction industries. He has worked with various building typologies and construction methods, and he holds a strong passion for creating sustainable and timeless architecture. He collaborates with his team to ensure the timely completion of projects within budget and meets the desires and needs of SG’s clients. His primary aim is to create inspiring environments for the people who use them. Craig’s main focus is on SG’s academic buildings, where he designs spaces that cater to students of all ages, facilitating both learning and enjoyment.
Colleen is a constant professional with over a decade of experience in the field of Interior Design. During this span, she distinguished herself as an assistant kitchen designer at Kitchen Technology, where her collaboration with the chief designer led to the development of innovative kitchen and bathroom designs. Utilizing AutoKitchen, Colleen adeptly produced 3D computer-generated renderings that played a pivotal role in helping clients visualize proposed spaces—an indispensable component of the design process.
Afterward, Colleen transitioned to the role of an Interior Designer. Her responsibilities include providing interior design services for a variety of project types, with a primary focus on multifamily projects. Collaborating with colleagues including designers, architects, consultants, and vendors, she plays a key role in guiding projects from initial concepts to completion.
Kayla joins the SG team as a graduate of Jefferson University where she obtained her Master’s degree in Interior Architecture. During her experience at Jefferson University, she studied interiors of museums, community wellness centers, hospitals, residential design, and more.
She previously taught as an elementary school teacher for three years, educating first, fifth, and Special Education students. Her passion for education has shifted to enhancing the learning environments she once taught in. Kayla also brings a wealth of knowledge in developing sustainable energy solutions for facilities. During her internship, she designed interiors for environmental centers, where she utilized Photovoltaic Panels and Rainwater cisterns for her projects. Her environmentally friendly strategies provide SG with insight for projects pursuing LEED Certification standards.
Sabrina is a recent graduate from Thomas Jefferson University with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. Sabrina gained almost a year of experience as an intern at BEAM Illuminating architecture. Sabrina proficiently utilized Revit and AutoCAD software to strategically position lighting fixtures in Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCPs) and developed lighting control intent plans. She skillfully compiled specifications for fixture schedules and lighting manuals using Excel and InDesign. Additionally, Sabrina expertly rendered lighting plans and created captivating concept renderings using Photoshop. She employed AGI software to construct models for accurate photometric predictions. Furthermore, she diligently conducted construction submittal reviews and maintained regular communication with representatives to obtain estimates for potential fixtures in projects. Sabrina also contributed to marketing efforts by updating the company portfolio with completed projects.
At SG, Sabrina is involved with handling furniture and finishing schedules, as well as creating detailed interior drawings and organizing sheet layouts. Additionally, she takes charge of ordering finished samples and communicates with representatives to procure materials for various projects.
Jeremy is a Pennsylvania State University graduate with a Bachelor of Architecture. While earning his Bachelor of Architecture degree, Jeremy developed valuable experience and expertise through architectural internships with professional firms including SCHRADERGROUP (SG). Jeremy continues to apply his expertise in producing models and graphic representation for SG in both the educational and public safety sectors.

Paige is a registered architect and a Pennsylvania State University graduate. She began her contributions to SCHRADERGROUP (SG) as a summer intern and currently serves as one of SG’s architects. Paige focuses her efforts on academic design as an extension of her thesis work in college. Coordinating with our Project Managers and Project Architects, Paige will collaborate with consultants and owners as a valuable part of the SG team.

Chris has almost ten years of experience in the industry. His experience includes managing Revit models and AutoCAD for large-scale academic projects (Elementary Schools, Middle Schools, Private Schools, and Libraries.) Chris also has experience on-site, where he performs a variety of labor tasks and duties, gaining a thorough understanding of job site culture. Chris is skilled in a wide array of project documentation for different phases of the architectural process. Chris’s wide range of experience in Architecture makes him a valuable asset to SG’s academic project team.

Selby is a Pennsylvania State University graduate with a Bachelor of Architecture as well as three minors: Architectural History, Environmental Inquiry, and Residential Construction. During his pursuit of his Bachelor of Architecture degree, Selby has gained invaluable practical expertise through architectural internships completed with professional firms. As an Architectural Designer at SCHRADERGROUP, Selby will apply his skills in 3D modelling and graphic representation to projects for the academic and public safety markets.
Jillian is a Pennsylvania State University Graduate with three years of experience in the field of architecture. Jillian began her contributions to SCHRADERGROUP with a summer internship in 2019 and has returned to SG after graduation as an Architectural Designer. Jillian is a highly motivated individual skilled in analytical computations and creative design. She has experience in managing Revit models and has worked directly with SG principals on multiple studies, conceptual plans, schematic floor plans, and construction documents. As an Architectural Designer, Jillian enjoys designing comforting and creative spaces for the academic and public safety markets while looking forward to her architectural registration and membership in the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
Trevor is a designer that comes to our team with over six years of previous experience in architectural design. An expert at Building Information Modeling (BIM), Trevor can handle designs from project inception through to construction administration. He is a skilled organizer whose past experience in public safety and higher education facility design will be of tremendous value to the firm.
Trevor has a Bachelor of Architecture degree with a minor in Sustainability from Philadelphia University.
Dan is a Pennsylvania State University Graduate with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree. He began his contributions to SCHRADERGROUP with a summer internship in 2021 and we are proud to have him return to SG as an Architectural Designer after graduation. Dan has experience working on multiple project types, ranging from education center feasibility studies to athletic facility design development. In his role as an Architectural Designer, Dan applies his conceptual thinking and creative problem-solving skills through 3D modeling and graphic visualization to our projects. Dan’s coordination with our Project Managers, Architects, consultants, and owners will serve as a valuable part of the SG team.
Kate is a recent Pennsylvania State University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in architecture. During her time in school, Kate had the opportunity to study abroad in Rome for a semester. Additionally, she pursued three minors in Landscape Architecture, Fine Art, and Architectural History. Prior to her graduation, Kate gained architectural experience by completing an internship at WEBBER/SMITH Associates. Post graduation, Kate gained more architectural experience at Benchmark Group, Inc.
At SG, Kate assists with the schematic and design development of projects such as Davis County EOC, the Garnet Valley Pennington Building, and Northern York Middle School. Kate has also helped master planning layouts with the Abington School District and Owen J. Roberts. Post graduation, Kate had the intention of pursuing school design and is excited to finally start learning about it.
Samantha, a recent graduate from the Pennsylvania State University, holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture. Throughout the past couple of years, she has gained practical experience by interning at Baglivo Associates as an architectural intern. Additionally, Samantha showcased her passion for art and served as an art ambassador at Penn State University. These experiences have undoubtedly enriched her skills and knowledge in the field. Samantha possesses proficiency in a range of essential architectural software and design tools. She is well-versed in utilizing Rhinoceros, AutoCAD, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite products, and Word Productions. With her comprehensive skills in these applications, Samantha is equipped to effectively tackle architectural projects and bring innovative design ideas to life.
At SG, Samantha actively contributes to various projects by assisting with surveys and gaining insight into a diverse range of project scales and types, including additions and renovations. Additionally, she diligently documents any modifications that occur throughout the design process to ensure thorough documentation.
Wiley is a highly accomplished individual who recently earned his Master’s degree in Architecture. He had previously interned with us at SG and has now joined our team as a full-time employee. Wiley has been extensively involved in the task of integrating new programmatic elements into pre-existing buildings, often necessitating the reprogramming of these structures for fresh purposes. He provide incredible attention to detail, lending his expertise to the intricate and precise production of drawings and models.
Jeff possesses nearly two decades of structural engineering design experience in various markets—from residential to commercial, K-12 to higher education, and public safety facilities and institutions. He is well-versed in structural steel, concrete, wood, metals, glazing, railing, and many other types of design. His desire for professional growth and an expansion of knowledge makes him a great asset to our team.
Jeff has his Bachelor of Architectural Engineering, Structural Option, and an integrated Master of Architectural Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. Jeff is a Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania.
David comes to the firm with a strong history of involvement in educational work. His professional experience includes all stages of projects, from schematic design through to construction documentation and administration. He is adept at facilitating coordination between the architectural group and all involved sub-consultants. Well-versed in BIM technology, he also is proficient in all aspects of drafting and modeling. David’s extensive skills and experience serve as an excellent support for the entire project team.
David has an Associate of Applied Science in Architectural Technology from the Pennsylvania College of Technology.
Brianna is a skilled communicator with a wide breadth of experience in administration and management. She is a self-motivated individual who has held multiple leadership positions in her career. Brianna contributes to SG her experience in administration, having held various management and volunteer positions with different organizations. Her attention to detail and communication skills will help streamline the flow of information both internally between coworkers and externally to our clients, consultants, and contractors.
Christina has fulfilled the roles of a graphic designer, administrator, marketing coordinator, data organizer, and project team member in her previous experiences in the last 15 years. Her project execution and experience combined with her commitment to maintaining quality in her attention to detail continues to serve the firm’s marketing opportunities well.
Christina has studied Interior Design and Architecture at the Art Institute of Philadelphia as well as Accounting at Western Governors University.
Lauren brings over six years of Marketing and Communications experience to SCHRADERGROUP. She earned her MA in English at Villanova University with a concentration in Marketing Communications. As a Marketing Associate, Lauren specializes in writing and content creation. She writes compelling and original copy for proposals, blogs and social media posts, and other external deliverables. Lauren is motivated by creativity, a talented team, and bettering her community. These characteristics align with SG’s people-focused mission, and in turn, help produce high-quality results.
