Regional Traffic Management Center, PennDOT District 6-0

SG, in coordination with Design-Builder Heim Construction, were selected by The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of General Services (DGS) / The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) to Design-Build a new Regional Traffic Management Center (RTMC) and Parking Structure. This new RTMC will be located in Upper Merion Township at the current location of the PennDOT Engineering District 6-0 office location. This RTMC and parking garage, and accompanying demolition of an existing parking garage, will be achieving a LEED Silver rating.
The new RTMC will be a key component in the success of future District Transportation System Management and Operations (TSMO) and ITS expansion projects, including the I-76 Corridor Comprehensive Transportation Management Plan and Active Traffic Management (ATM) project.
